Mr. Scooter Roger Swaney, age 40, husband of Therese Garrison Swaney of 340 Windy Hill Road, Central, SC, died Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville.Born in Oconee County, SC on June 11, 1965, Mr. Swaney was a son of Linda Spurlock Swaney and the late Tommy Roger Swaney. He was employed at Tune-Up City in Clemson, SC, as a technician.He is survived by his wife, Theresa Garrison Swaney of the home, mother, Linda Spurlock Swaney of Pendleton; son, Jackson Roger Swaney of the home; two daughters, Kayla Rene' Swaney and Jamie Swaney, both of the home; step-sons, Jessie Robert Jones and Joshua Knox Jones, both of the home; a brother, Timothy Roger Swaney of Six Mile, SC and grandmother, Lucille Merck Swaney of Pendleton.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2006, at 3:00 om at Fants Grove Baptist Church officiated by the Reverend Allen Moore. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 25, 2006, from 6:00pm until 9:00 pm.
