Scott Alan Gallagher, age 61, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at his home.

Born May 26, 1964, in Charleston, WV, he was a son of Vonna Sue Glover Gallagher and the late Paul D. Gallagher.

Scott attended Glenville State College and was formerly employed with Sam's Club. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed the mountains, fishing, hunting, water and snow skiing. He also enjoyed driving his Chevy truck. Growing up in West Virginia, he attended Oakhurst Presbyterian Church with his family and was an avid WVU Mountaineers fan. He formerly lived in Gainesville, GA, where he made a profession of faith and was baptized at Riverbend Baptist Church. Scott was loved by many and will be missed.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Paul Gregory Gallagher; a number of aunts, uncles and their families; and longtime dear friend, Jennifer Scholten.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Gallant Chapel of First Presbyterian Church of Anderson with Rev. Dr. Maren Sonstegard-Spray officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Anderson, 302 W. Whitner St., Anderson, SC 29624.
