Scott Joe Goode, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born August 12, 1956 in Spartanburg, SC, he was a son of the late Stanley and Patricia Ezell Goode. He was plant manager at HDK Industries in Greenville and was a member of Neals Creek Baptist Church. In his spare time, he loved to play golf. He is survived by his wife, Melody Huckaby Goode of the home; son, Jeffrey Goode (Julie); two grandchildren, Brittany and Chandler Goode all of Maryland and four brothers, Timmy, Tony, Todd and Craig of Spartanburg. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30pm Monday, January 14, 2019 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 3:00pm Monday with Rev. Jason Dorriety officiating. Entombment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 1817 Gadsden St, Columbia, SC 29201.
