Shamra Welsh Morgan, 50, of Anderson, SC, loving wife to Tony Morgan, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020, at her residence. Shamra fought a courageous battle against brain cancer. She was first diagnosed in 2016 and against all odds, defeated the dreaded disease. Unfortunately, her battle began again in December 2019. By keeping a strong-mind and having an unrelenting will, Shamra never lost faith throughout her fight. Born February 19, 1970, in Abbeville, LA, she is a daughter of Walter Thomas Welsh and Joy Thomas Welsh. In addition to her husband Tony, she is survived by her daughters, Sara Banks (Josiah), and Amanda Curtis, both of Birmingham, Alabama; brother, Chaney Welsh (Gretchen) of California; and sisters, Micki Welsh of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Kerry Welsh of Baltimore, Maryland.
