The McDougald Funeral Home and Cremation Services 2211 North Main Street Anderson, SC 29621 864-224-4343 Obituary ANDERSON, SC SHEILA BOLT MELVIN BEAM October 2, 1964 - October 5, 2012 Sheila Bolt Melvin Beam, age 48, of 712 Jackson Street, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2012, at AnMed Health. Born in Anderson, she was daughter of Mrs. Sue Wilson Bolt of Anderson, and the late Marion Jack Bolt. Sheila was a graduate of McDuffie High School, Class of 1982. She was a customer service manager on third shift at Walmart on Hwy 28 By-pass. Mrs. Beam was a member of Broadway Lake Baptist Church. Prior to her work at Walmart, she was a teacher at Kiddie Land Child Care Center, and at the West Anderson Christian Academy. She adored her two beautiful children and her 3 grandaughters. In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, William Thomas Beam of Rock Hill, SC; a son, Dakota "Cody" Melvin of the home; a daughter, Erica Melvin and her fianc Puncho Ramsey of Anderson; a brother, Jack Bolt and his wife Phyllis of Anderson; 3 grandchildren, Madysen, McKynna and Rayelan Ramsey of Anderson. She is also survived by her children's father, Pete Melvin of Pendleton, and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a lot of friends who she treasured. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at 1 PM at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Duncan and Rev. Mark Daniel officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of Jack and Phyllis Bolt, 207 Rhodehaven Drive, Anderson, and will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 8, 2012 from 6 PM until 8 PM.
