Shelby Jean Brock, age 83, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born January 22, 1938 in Abbeville County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lucian and Clossie McCurry Pruitt. Shelby was a 1955 graduate of Honea Path High School and was retired from Homeland Park Water. She was a long-time faithful member of Riverside Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ansel Brock, Jr.; sons, Kevin Brock (Carla), and Scott Brock (Kim); and grandchildren, Ansley and Ian Brock, and Jansen Brock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Pruitt; and sister, Mable Watt. A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Wayne Adams officiating. Social distancing will be observed and masks required. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riverside Baptist Church, 504 S. Gossett St., Anderson, SC 29624.
