Shelby Bannister Todd, age 69, widow of Douglas MacArthur Todd, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at her residence.
Born in Anderson, SC, on August 18, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Elizabeth Cleveland Bannister. Shelby worked for 26 years with Anderson School District 3 before her retirement in 2012, and she was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Beth Brooks and her husband Bud, Janie Fairchild and her husband Charles, and Wanda Fairchild and her husband Keith, all of Iva; her sisters, Faye Hall and her husband Ken of Iva, Belinda Crisp and her husband Steve of Starr, and Gloria Trotter and her husband Wayne of Iva; and her grandchildren, Andrew and wife Megan, Kayla, Jessica, Rachel, Gary, and Seth.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015, at 2:00 PM at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Robert Eubanks and Chaplain Michael McCaulley officiating. Interment will follow at Hebron United Methodist Church Cemetery in Iva.
The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, April 12, 2015, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Beth Brooks, 147 Mike McConnell Avenue, Iva, SC.
