Shelly Bishop Pettibone Goupil, age 71, of Anderson, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016, at AnMed Health Medical Center with her beloved husband by her side. For twenty-four years she was the devoted wife of Richard E. Goupil. Born on February 5, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Richard Pettibone, and the late Helen Shelly Pettibone. In addition to her husband, Richard, Shelly is survived by a son, Darrell Carpetyan of Phoenix, AZ; a daughter, Page Carpetyan also of Phoenix; a borther, John Hunter Pettibone and his wife, Carole, of Danbury, CT; and a sister Tamma Moriarty and her husband, Jerome, of Marshall, NC.
