Shelvy Cain McGuffin, age 73, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at her residence. Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Harley D. Cain and the late Fronie Gillespie Cain. Shelvy worked at Hammonds-Brown-Jennings Furniture Store for many years and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband, T.W. McGuffin; four sons, Terry McGuffin and his wife Rhonda, of Antreville, SC, Tim McGuffin and his wife Jeri, of Rock Hill, SC, Jeff McGuffin and his wife Lynn, of Iva, SC, and Joseph A. McGuffin, of Elberton, GA; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church with Reverend Steve Hurte, Reverend Sam Duncan, and Reverend Justin Phillips officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
