Sherald D. Wright, 96, of Anderson, SC, devoted and dedicated husband of the late Edith Wright, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Martha Franks Retirement Community in Laurens. Born June 5, 1924, he was the son of the late Jessie and Nannie Page Wright. He is survived by his son, Rev. Ken Wright (Sheila) of Anderson; brother, Elbert Wright; two granddaughters, Sherri Henderson (Kevin), and Carole Wright; three great-grandchildren, Jackson Wright, Chaz Henderson (Kathy), and Bailey Lynch (Jimmy); and one great-great-granddaughter, Lila Lynch. In addition to his parents and wife Edith, he was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Wright; grandson, Stephen Wright; and great-great-grandson, Finn Lynch. Family and friends may pay their respects and sign the Guest Register on Monday, November 9, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg, SC. The family will receive friends following the service.
