Sherry Coddington Belton, SC Sherry Blandena Surgnier Coddington, age 74, of Belton, SC, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Lake Harbour, FL, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Paul Surgnier and the late Blandena Estelle Helms Surgnier. She was a faithful member of Neals Creek Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. She is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Loren Lee Coddington; loving daughters, Cindy Coddington (Gene), April Hendry (James), Gina Adams (Charlie) and Luann Minton (Darrell); brothers, Paul, Bud and Walter Surgnier; 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie and Dean Surgnier. The Funeral Service will be held at Neals Creek Baptist Church, on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Jason Dorriety and Reverend Jeremy Beauford officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be at the home, 1210 Blue Ridge Avenue, Belton, SC, and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home, on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Flowers are optional.
