Sherry Lynn Shivers, age 48, of Anderson, SC, passed away on her birthday, January 27, 2021, at her home. She was born in 1973 in Sanford, FL, and was the daughter of Wanda Jones Ripley. Sherry was full of life and loved to dance, though she didn't have any rhythm. She loved people with her whole heart and was loved just as much in return. In fact, she was happiest when she could make other people happy. Sherry was devoted to her family and lived and breathed for her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, James Jason "Buck" Shivers of the home; mother, Wanda Ripley; children, Alicia Brown, Chris Brown and Justin Dillard; sisters, Donna Bostick and Carrie Riggs; and grandchildren, Carter, Tabren, Caden and Skylar. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Bobby Ripley. The family will have a private service.
