Sherry Lynn Strickland Anderson, SC Sherry Lynn Shaw Strickland, age 54, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Archie B. Shaw and the late Evelyn Lena Anderson Shaw. She is survived by her husband, Rufus Thomas "Tommy" Strickland, of the home; four daughters, Amber Strickland Hawkins and her husband Chase, Ashley Strickland, Hayley Strickland and Jade Strickland, all of Anderson; a brother, Brian Shaw, of Iva; two sisters, Debbie Jean Vickery, of Honea Path, SC and Pamela Stansell, of Iva, SC; and two grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Fisher. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Johnny Vickery officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.
