SHERYL MCKINNEY SHERYL McKINNEY June 10, 1962 - December 29, 2012 CARTERSVILLE, GA Sheryl McKinney, of Cartersville, GA, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012. Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of Ken McKinney and Mary E. McKinney. She was the head of counseling and a professor of psychology at Georgia Highlands College in Cartersville, GA. Sheryl was a cofounder of Anderson Care Pregnancy Center. Including her parents, Sheryl is survived by her loving daughters, Erica Perry and her husband Jeremy of Dallas, GA, Lindsey Sizemore, and Lauren Longval and her husband Tony, all of Atlanta, GA and Katie Sizemore of Bethesda, MD; two special grandchildren; and two loving sisters, Lynn McDaniel and her husband George of Charlottesville, VA and Teresa Adkins and her husband Rick of Anderson, SC. A private family funeral service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, officiated by the Reverend Rob White, with burial following at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.
