SHIRLEY ANN BRITTON Shirley Ann Britton, age 72, of Harrisville, WV, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Camden Clark Medical Center. Born in Parkersburg, WV on October 16, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Charles Brady DeBrular and the late Oma Boyce DeBrular. Mrs. Britton graduated from Doddridge County High School with the class of 1959. She then went on to graduate from Parkersburg Beauty College and owned and operated her own beauty salon in Ellenboro for many years. She was also a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed crafts and spending time with friends and family. She leaves behind her husband, Frank Britton of the home; two sons, James Michael 'Mike' Hinton of Cairo, WV and Charles William 'Chuck' Hinton of Anderson, SC; step son, Frank Britton, Jr (Debbie) of Parkersburg and step daughter, Michelle Britton Husbands of Reno, NV; triplet sisters, Helene Dodd and Eileen Barker both of Pennsboro, WV and Irene Cunningham of Harrisville, WV; four grandchildren, Tyler Britton of Vienna, WV, Wade Bailey of Richmond, VA, Meagan Mains and Dalton Husbands both of Akron, OH; and her faithful cocker spaniel 'Bailey'. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, James L. DeBrular. The Graveside Service to celebrate and honor the life of Shirley will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Harrisville I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Rev. John Frum officiating. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
