Shirley Louise Watson Evans, age 80, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, at AnMed Medical Center.

Born July 2, 1944, in Atlanta, GA, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Franklin Watson and Margaret Louise Flanigan Watson. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Ellis Smith; and a brother, Stuart Watson.

Shirley was a very religious woman who loved her church, her Bible and all things of God. She enjoyed fishing and loved her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Smith of Hudson, FL, and Sheryl Lynn Galloway (Brian) of Middleville, MI; brothers, Bobby Watson and Tim Watson; sisters, Tricia Giles and Beverly Osborne; grandchildren Joshua Ray Smith-Goodrich and Abigail Galloway; and great grandchildren, Kaydence Foerch and Taron Guessner.

The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 6:00 pm at South Pointe Baptist Church, 1319 Hwy. 29 S., Anderson, SC 29626. A preservice luncheon will be held for immediate family only from 3:00-5:30 pm at Mama Penn's Restaurant, 2802 N. Main St., Anderson, SC 29621.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Pointe Baptist Church.
