Shirley Ann Harrison Shirley Ann Burdette Pettigrew Harrison, 72, of Anderson passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at her residence. She was first married to James Pettigrew and after his death, she met and married the late Walter Howard Harrison. Shirley was a daughter of the late Virgil Woodrow Burdette and the late Geneva Lawson Burdette. She retired from the Singer Company and was of the Baptist faith. Shirley is survived by her son Anthony Pettigrew (Lisa); sisters, Elaine Durham (Norman) and Rita Faye Crumpton; brother Curtis Burdette; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her son, William Pettigrew; brother, Kirk Burdette and a sister, Vicky Padgett. The family will receive friends from 2-3pm Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 3:30pm.
