Shirley Holliday Jameson, age 77, of Belton, SC, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021. Born February 9, 1944, she was the daughter of Joe Milton Holliday and Lucy Shirley Holliday. She was the wife of Gregg Newton Jameson. Shirley attended Belton High School, Class of 1962, where she excelled at tennis. She was the owner of Jameson Greenhouses in Belton for 30 years. Prior to that, she was employed at Bellsouth for 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren as well as taking care of her animals. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Belton. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gregg; son, Gene (Lisa); grandchildren, Joejee and Abby; and a brother, Jan M. Holliday (Evelyn). The family will receive friends Sunday, September 12, 2021, from 1:30-2:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. T. Dale Lynch officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
