Lachapelle October 8, 1931 - March 6, 2011ANDERSON, SCShirley Pearl Locke Lachapelle, age 79, wife of Francis William Lachapelle of 302 Coker Road, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA.Born in Willoughby, VT on October 8, 1931, Mrs. Lachapelle was the daughter of the late Edgar Clarence Locke and Viola Florence Freehart Locke. She formerly was employed with American Optical Company in Southbridge MA for 25 years and upon her retirement, she and her husband, moved to Anderson, SC in 1994. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, David R. Lachapelle and his wife, Linda of Centreville, VA and Gary J. Lachapelle and his wife, Olga of East Granby, CT; daughters, Donna M. Tobias and her husband, Richard of Lynnwood, WA, Nancy A. Fassett and her husband, Bruce of Anderson and Carol Gray and her husband John, also of Anderson. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Glenn Taylor. Interment will follow in M. J.
