She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother and worked for a number of years at Clemson University as a cook.She is survived by her husband of the home; sons, Bobby Ledford, Belton, Johnny Ledford, Anderson; daughters, Mamie Strickland, Anderson and Annette Seawright, Iva; brothers Ralph Wood, Anderson, and Harold Wood, Florida; and sister, Lucy Bell Johnson, Seneca; 20 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Howard Wood, Eugene Wood, Charlie Wood, and James Wood; and four sisters, Eula Collins, Edna Turner, Aves Taylor, and Willie Keith.The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2006, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Hunsinger officiating.
