Mrs. Shirley Ann Mobley, 74, of Seneca, SC died July 13th, 2015 at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC. She was born on July 8, 1941 to the late James H. and Nanny Mae Holt Gowan in Hot Springs, NC. She was a member of La France Church of God and worked in textiles at J.P. Stevens for many years. Mrs. Mobley is survived by her husband: Charles Hernandez of their home; a son: Rick Ellington; a step-son: Tony Hernandez; one brother: Charles C. Gowan; two sisters: Pauline Genobles and Junivee Allison; a step-grandson: Duncan Hernandez; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son: Scott Ellington; a brother: Herbert Lee Gowan; and two sisters: Hazel Wofford and Valerie George. A funeral service will be held at La France Church of God in La France, SC on Thursday, July 16th, 2015 at 2:00pm with the Pastors Roger and Paul Allison officiating. Interment will follow at Oconee Memorial Park in Seneca, SC. The family will receive friends from Wednesday, July 15th, 2015 from 7-9:00pm at La France Church of God.
