SHIRLEY ANN "MAMAW" STANDRIDGE January 16, 1949 - November 5, 2012 ANDERSON, SC Shirley Ann Harrell Standridge, (Mamaw), 63, of Anderson, SC, went to be with Our Lord and Savior, after a long battle of lung cancer, on Monday, November 5, 2012. Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Clure Harrell and the late Edna Lee Pressley Harrell. Shirley is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Melvin Gene Standridge; a daughter, Christi Bannister; a son, Melvin Gene Standridge, Jr. (Junior) and wife Amy; her most beloved grandchildren, Brandon Bannister, Joshua Bannister, Jackson Harrell, Emily Standridge, Seth Standridge and Keaton Harrell; brothers, Charles (Bug) Harrell, Larry (Bean) Harrell and wife Diane, Mike (Nehi) Harrell and wife Cathy, Ricky Harrell, Jackie Harrell, Gary (Smiley) Harrell and wife Rebecca, and Gregg Harrell; one sister, Tammie Hackett and husband Jamie; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Brenda Jones and Enoch Paul, Jr. In addition to her parents, Shirley was predeceased by a sister Deborah Harrell. Shirley was a member of The House of Prayer on Evergreen Street in Anderson, SC and was the operator of Starr Mart in Starr, SC. A Celebration of Shirley's life will take place on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, officiated by the Reverends, Jerry Nation, Mike Harrell, and Rodney Harbin. The brothers and sister will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, SC. The family will be at 204 C Street, Anderson and will receive friends on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home.
