Shirley Lee Worley, age 82, of Anderson, SC, passed away peacefully in the arms of the Lord on Monday, August 4, 2025. Born to Hoy and Grace Lee, Shirley lived a life full of love, faith, and dedication to her family and community.

Shirley was a cherished member of Centerville Baptist Church, where she found great strength and joy in her faith. Her kindness, warmth, and infectious smile touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a devoted mother, nana, and friend who always put others before herself, leaving a lasting legacy of love and compassion.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Patricia Tompkins and son-in-law Travis; grandchildren, Ethan Tompkins and Andrew Tompkins (Jordyn); and brother, Dan Lee. She was also deeply loved by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Worley; daughter, Susan Worley; and sisters, Linda Chastain and Sandra Martin.

Shirley's life was a testament to the power of faith, family, and love. She will be greatly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Robbie Smith officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
