Simone Lorigene, age 75, of Anderson, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center in Huntersville, NC. Born on June 8, 1941, in Thomazeau, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Thedome Jeune and the late Annelie Phenelon. She was retired after several years of employment at IBM. Mrs. Lorigene was a member of First Haitian Wesleyan Church in Anderson. Survivors include four sons, Lyonel Paul (Shannon) of Belton, Miguel Joseph (Viviane) Charlotte, Chenet Joseph (Rose) of Anderson, Jean Noel of Hyattsville, MD; two daughters, Myrlande Paul of Brooklyn, NY, and Marie Noel of Anderson; fifteen grandchildren, Keenan, Marcus, Noah, Jeremy, Kenedall, Bryce, Alexander, Andre, Justice, Shamar, Jason, Cinia, Gaelle, Benie, and Nessah; and one great-grandchild, Harmony. The funeral service to celebrate the life of Simone Lorigene will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the First Haitian Wesleyan Church, 1325 Salem Church Road, Anderson, SC. Entombment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
