George H. "Sonny" Conner, III, age 63, passed away at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Covington, KY, he was the son of the late George H. Conner, Jr. and the late Virginia Finn Spencer. He was a loving father, supportive husband, and fabulous friend to many. Sonny was a talented race car builder and retired from that after many years of service. He is survived by his wife, Donna Harper Conner; a daughter, Brittany Nicole Starcher and her husband Kenneth, of Concord, NC; two sisters, Donna Wigglesworth, of Covington, KY, and Sue Combs and her husband Rodney, of Ft. Myers, FL. The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. The family will gather for a time of visitation following the service.
