SOPHY A. TESONE May 3, 1917 - March 8, 2013 Sophy Alexandra Marcinowski Tesone, age 95, of 250 Indian Trail Anderson SC, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Alex Marcinowski and the late Mary Mazurkiewicz Marcinowski. She was the loving and devoted wife of the late Mario N. Tesone. Mrs. Tesone attended Zion United Methodist Church in Anderson. Survivors include a son, Nicholas A. Tesone and his wife, Pamela, of Anderson, and a daughter-in-law, Linda Tesone of Port Jefferson Station, NY. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Maria Kratochwill, Richard Tesone, Neil Tesone, Daniel Tesone, Donna Tesone, and Denise Shaw, and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Sophy was preceded in death by a son, Robert Tesone, and brothers, Walter Marcinowski and Michael Marcinowski. A funeral service celebrating the life of Mrs. Sophy A. Tesone will be held at 3 PM on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. Shawn Armstrong officiating. The family will be at the home of Nick and Pam Tesone, 250 Indian Trail, Anderson, SC, but no formal visitation is scheduled. The graveside service will be scheduled at a later date at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, Long Island, NY.
