HAWKINS December 21, 1911 - September 11, 2008 ANDERSON, SCMrs. Stella Mae Hawkins, age 96, wife of the late Jacob Tyler Hawkins, died on Thurs., Sept. 11, 2008 at Brookside Living Center.Born in Oconee CO., SC on Dec. 21, 1911, Mrs. Hawkins was a daughter of the late James Floyd Davis and Cora Threatha Emery Davis. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a homemaker. Survivors include her son, Jacob Tyler Hawkins, Jr., of Anderson; daughter, Martha Jean Watkins of Iva; sisters, Vera Cathy and Cleo Foster; 3 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her step-mother, Agnes Haynes Farmer Davis, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.A Graveside Service will be held on Sun., Sept. 14, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Old Silver Brook Cemetery officiated by the Reverend Joe Sims.The family will be at the home of her son, 417 Cedarwood Lane, Anderson.
