Stephanie Nicole Cardoso, age 51, of Belton, SC, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at AnMed Medical Center.

Born October 8, 1973, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of Clifton and Connie Hunter. Stephanie never went a day without talking to her Papa and Nonnie.

Stephanie lived her life full of drive and ambition which afforded her the opportunity to become a manager for FedEx. She was a hard worker and loved her job and did it well. She was well respected and adored by her co-workers. Family meant the world to Stephanie and her daughters were her heart and soul. She loved her girls more than anything. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend and will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters, Isabella Silva Hunter Cardoso and Sophia Vivianna Nicole Cardoso; and brothers, James Nathan Cheek, John Glenn Hunter, and Clinton Shane Hunter.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Matthew Cheek.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 1:00-1:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm in the Chapel with Samuel Hunter and James Reynolds officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
