Stephanie Yvonne Trammell passed away peacefully at Open Arms Hospice in Simpsonville, SC, in the wee hours of the morning on June 21, 2024.

Stephanie was born June 17, 1968, in Greenwood, SC. She loved to travel and traveled the world for pleasure but also as her life's work of teaching. She once said she felt the Lord called her to teach around the world. She traveled to so many interesting places for her job teaching at American schools in places including China, Kuwait, Egypt & Pakistan, to name a few. She also taught in several school districts throughout South Carolina.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen "Kathy" Penso Trammell, grandparents, Clyde & Lucille Trammell, and Leonard & Dorothy Penso, and niece, Kylie Alysse Trammell.

She is survived by her father Ken Trammell (Kathy) of Anderson, SC, daughter Elizabeth Weeks (Payton) of Greenville, SC, brother Phillip Trammell (Loretta) of Apex, NC, step brother John Harper, IV (Allison) of Greenville, SC, step sister Martha Laura Harper Miller (Jay) of Banner Elk, NC, and her confidant and cousin Sheila Trammell of Milton, FL, along with many other beloved family and friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 2:00-2:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Sanders Read officiating.
