Steven Gregg "Berlin Wall" Berlin, age 60, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born November 20, 1962, in Marion, IN, he was the son of the late Ralph Warren Berlin and Dolores Meachim Berlin. Steve was a graduate of Clemson University where he was a member of the 1981 National Championship football team and was known as the "Berlin Wall". He loved sports, especially his Tigers and Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed working out, cooking and time spent with his family and friends. Steve had a giving heart and took joy in spoiling his loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Kerri Cavanaugh Berlin; sons, Devin Berlin (Josephine) of Fountain Inn, Clay Berlin of Greenville, and Chase Turner of Easley, SC; daughters, Chelsi Jarrell (Michael) of Rock Hill and Megan Berlin of Greenwood; sister, Elizabeth Toth (Michael) of Pittsburgh, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. No services are planned at this time. Memorials may be made in Steve's name to the charity of one's choice.
