Steve Lee Ertzberger, 66, of Pendleton, SC passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at his home. Born April 16, 1956 in Portland, Oregon, he was a son of Ruth Moore Ertzberger and the late Henry Lee Ertzberger. Steve was the former pastor of Antioch Independent Baptist Church and was currently a member of Refuge Baptist Church in Central, SC. He loved playing bluegrass music and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Ertzberger of the home; daughters, Michelle Bishop (Jason) of Pendleton, SC and Stephanie Ertzberger (Chase Taylor) of Taylors, SC; brother, Randy Ertzberger (Lynn) of Inman, SC; sister, Sandra Burdette of Anderson, SC and three grandchildren, Morgan Stewart, Bailee Stewart and Miracle Bishop. The family will receive friends from 11am-12:30 pm, Friday, May 20, 2022 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery, Central, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, 375 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill, New Jersey 08034.
