Steve Donald Wardlaw, 58, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital. Born in Honolulu, HI, on September 19, 1959, Steve is son of Shirley McClure Wardlaw and the late Herman Clyde Wardlaw. Steve proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a heating and air, and refrigeration repair specialist. He was also an avid Clemson Tigers fan. In addition to his mother, Steve is survived by sisters, Sandra Jean Massey (Bob) and Gail Brown, both of Pelzer, SC; nieces, Sara Hinshaw and Amanda Newton; and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Steve was preceded in death by his brother Ted Robert Wardlaw. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow visitation on Tuesday in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Mike Harrell officiating.
