B. Steve White, age 69, of Anderson, SC, went to his Heavenly home on Sunday, February 14, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. He was born May 9, 1951 in Anderson, SC, and was the son of the late Harold White and Lillie Mae Chitwood White. Steve was a graduate of T.L. Hanna High School, graduate of Anderson College, and a 1972 graduate of Erskine College. He was a licensed real estate broker and builder and a state certified appraiser who began his career with Cochran Real Estate Company. He joined John Holman to form Holman-White, Inc. in 1979 and in 1981 he became owner and broker of All-Star Real Estate Company. Steve served on the Board of Directors at The Peoples Bank. He loved to work and would give quietly to many charities to help those in need. Steve will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, father and Papa. He is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years, Patti Sloan White; daughters, April Osborne (Lee), and Amber Robinson (Greg); and grandchildren, Hannah and Katy Osborne, and Lillian Grace Robinson who affectionately called him "Papa". In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Boyd and John Arthur White. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 17, 2021, from 10:00-11:30 am at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at noon in the Chapel with Braden Tench officiating. The Board of Directors of The Peoples Bank will serve as honorary escorts. Social distancing will be observed and masks required.
