Steven Clifton Macdonnell Anderson, SC Steven Clifton Macdonnell, age 61, of Anderson, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at his residence. Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of Grace Gildersleeve Macdonnell and the late John Clifton Macdonnell. He was the owner of Macdonnell Exterminating. Steven was an Honorary Member of the SC Sherriff's Association. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Douglas Macdonnell, of Grand Haven, MI; two sisters, Catherine Makison and her husband Eric, of Kennesaw, GA, and L. Jane Macdonnell, of Macon, GA; nieces and nephews, Danielle, Erika, Allie, Melanie and Clifton; and great-nieces and nephews, Emmy Lou, Blakely, Ellis, Joshua, and Jacob. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Basil "Gin-Gin" Gildersleeve; and his grandmother, Lois Gildersleeve "Me-Me"; and an uncle, Bud Gildersleeve. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. with Brother-in-Christ, Eric Makison officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, prior to the service from 11:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hopes and Glory Stables, 268 Kinley Road, Royston, GA 30662.
