Steven Austin Neese, age 64, of Anderson, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016, at Rainey Hospice House following a valiant fight with cancer. Upon his death, he was surrounded by his beloved family. Born in Anderson on March 31, 1952, he was the son of the late Austin Ernest Neese and the late Barbara "Bobbie" Hancock Neese. For twenty-seven years, he was the devoted husband of Debbie Fowler Neese of the residence. Mr. Neese was a graduate of T. L. Hanna High School, and served his country in the US Army Reserve, 328 Signal Company. Steve was one of the original founders of Beverage Systems, Inc., which was formed in 1988. In addition to his wife, Debbie, Steve is survived by two sons, Steven Michael Neese and his wife, Kristal, of Anderson, and Ryan Acierno and his wife Somer of Greer, SC; a daughter, Blair Neese Ross and her husband, Nick of Moncks Corner, SC; a sister, Sheila McCall of Fair Play, SC; five grandchildren, Kameron Neese, Cade Neese, Cole Neese, Parker Ross, and Hensley Acierno; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate and honor the life of Steve Neese will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2016, at 3:30 PM at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, with Rev. Jason Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.
