Steven Alan Poulin, 60, of Anderson, SC passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born January 11, 1958, in Camp Lejeune, NC, he was a son of the late Raymond Louis Poulin, Sr. and the late Yvonne Marie Lozon Poulin. Steven retired after 20 years from United States Navy as Petty Officer First Class and was a gifted helicopter mechanic; having served during the Iran Contra aboard the USS Enterprise and in the first Gulf War. He was currently employed as a lineman for Spectrum. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast, an avid movie goer and a devoted family man. He is survived by Kim Poulin of Lowndesville, SC; daughters, Porcha Bullock (Jack) of Fredericksburg, VA and Alana Poulin of Lowndesville, SC: siblings, Raymond L. Poulin, Jr. (Janet) of Hubert, NC, William L. Poulin (Anita) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Carlton D. Poulin (Kay) of Scotia, NY and Teia Poulin (Elaine) of Cary, NC; two grandchildren, Aliya Richey and Julian Bullock and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, May 12, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00- 3:00pm. A family committal service with military honors will be held at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville, NC at Noon on Monday, May 21, 2018.
