RAY COLLINS August 21, 1944 - July 25, 2008ANDERSON, SCMr. Strother Ray Collins, 63, of 217 Kaye Drive, husband of the late Eula Maude Woods Collins, died Friday, July 25, 2008 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Oconee County, SC on August 21, 1944, Mr. Collins was a son of the late James Gus Collins and Mae Collins Riddle. He was a textile employee and worked for Equinox Mill for 17 years.Survivors include his son, Bobby Kay of Iva; stepsons, Melvin Geer of Pendleton and Marvin Woods of Anderson; brother, John A Collins of Walhalla and four grandchildren.In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Ann Pickens; brothers, Gus and J.B Collins and sister, Mae Nichols.A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 28, 2008 at 10:00 am at Old Silver Brook Cemetery.
