Sue Evelyn Greenway, age 68, of 104 Oakland Avenue, Abbeville, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2017, at Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood, surrounded by the love of her family. Born September 13, 1948, in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late John Willis Greenway and the late Ruby Ashley Greenway. She was a beautician for many years and also was a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Abbeville Nursing Home. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Iva. Survivors include a very special friend, George Mann of Abbeville; a son, Gabriel Lee Adams (Rhonda) of Iva; a daughter, Tammy Partain Moore (Brian) of Abbeville; six grandchildren, Ashlee Adams, Braden Adams, Jonathan Partain, Lea Partain, Kristen Partain, and Jonathan Moore; five great-grandchildren, Peyton Partain, Candler Partain, Kayleigh Partain, Karder Davis, and Kaden Moore; and a brother, Kent Greenway (Sheryl) of Iva. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, George "Buddy" Ragsdale Hall, Jr. The funeral service to celebrate the life of Sue Adams will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Iva, with Rev. Jerry Gray officiating. Interment will follow at Iva City Cemetery.
