SUE P. ALLBROOK JULY 14, 1929 - MARCH 16, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Susie Jean Pace Allbrook, age 83, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Rainey Hospice House. Born in Yazoo City, MS, she was the daughter of the late Artice Elton and Flossie Henson Pace. Mrs. Allbrook got her nursing degree from St. Joseph Hospital in New Orleans, LA, she worked for 37 years as a registered nurse at DeKalb Medical Center in Decatur GA. After moving to Anderson, Sue was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and the Casting Pearls Knitting Group. She was an avid supporter of Meals on Wheels and Cancer Association of Anderson. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Jones and her husband, Mike of Anderson, SC; son, William Allbrook and his wife, Leigh of Auburn, AL; grandchildren, Samantha and Kate Allbrook; sister, Myra Womble of Lafayette, LA; many nieces and nephew, special nieces Nell Keever, Janet Keever, Fredna Schiavone and Betty Thompson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Elton Pace, two sisters, Wilma Thompson and Doris Pace. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Paul Frey and Reverend Frank Lybrand officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 E.
