Sandra Sue Hill Bolding, age 77, of Belton, SC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born January 9, 1948, in Hartwell, GA, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Hill and Eva Risner Hill. She was married to Charles Custer Bolding until his death in 2004. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Doyle, Mike, Kenny, and Jerry Hill.

Sue was formerly a secretary for the Anderson City Council and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was an animal lover with a special affinity for squirrels…even raising some from babies. You could always find Sue feeding the squirrels! She also enjoyed working in her flower garden. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Bolding Fleming and her husband Ken of Belton; brother, Terry Hill and his wife Sharon of Anderson; sister, Barbara Hill Mattison and her husband Jimmy of Anderson; grandson, Ryan Fleming and his wife Sarah of Belton; and great grandchildren, Eamon and Sophia Fleming of Belton.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 2:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 412 Harden Road, Anderson SC. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm. Mrs. Bolding's final resting place will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
