Sue Catherine Sweatt Boyette, age 85, of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born June 12, 1936, in Patrick, SC, she was a daughter of the late Carl Sweatt and Beatrice Isgett Sweatt. Sue was a member of First Baptist Church of Anderson. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving husband, Leslie Darrell Boyette, Sr.; son, Leslie Darrell Boyette, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Kimberly Sue Boyette Thompson (Larry) of Anderson, SC; granddaughter, Taylor Thompson Torbert (James) of Columbia, SC; great granddaughter, Lucy Eliza Torbert of Columbia, SC; and sister, Harriett Sweatt Langford of North Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Sweatt Jenkins. The family will receive friends Friday, January 28, 2022, from 12:15-1:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm in the Chapel with Dr. Josh Hunt officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Anderson, 307 S.
