Fincannon, age 91, widow of Fred Fincannon, formerly of Jefferson Avenue, died May 14, 2006 at Station 1, NHC HealthCare in Anderson.Born in Madison County GA on December 22, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Charlie David and Elizabeth Campbell McElreath. She was a member of River Street Baptist Church.She is survived by daughters, Betty Taylor of Seneca, Quillie Shiflet of Anderson, Shelby Bryson of Anderson and Mabel Lowery of Westminster; sister, Alberta Guest of Homer, GA; 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great-grandchildren.She was predeceased by her first husband, Reece W. Sudberry; son Reece W. Sudberry Jr.; grandson, Gregg Bryson; brothers, Jess, Harold and Fred McElreath; sisters, Jennie M. Wages and Marietta Mikhel.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Mark Hopkins. Interment will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.Flowers are optional.
