Mary Sue Lovelace Free, 90, of Anderson, SC, passed away, Thursday, January 14, 2021, at NHC Healthcare Anderson. Born December 17, 1930, in Marion, NC, she was the daughter of the late Fred Perry Lovelace and Marie Sue Lovelace. Sue enjoyed helping others and was formerly an in-home caregiver. She was known for her sweet smile and was loved dearly by her family. Sue was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Freddy Oscar Free, Jimmy Lee Free, and Robert Bradley Free; daughter, Janice Free Dunn; brother, Larry Gene Lovelace; 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Henry Perry Lovelace and Fred Perry Lovelace, Jr. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 18, 2021, from 12:30-1:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 pm with Harry Osborne officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
