Lollis passed away on Friday, December 26, 2008 at her home.Born in Greenville, SC on April 11, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Henry F. Thompson and Cora Bell Lindsey Thompson. She was retired from the textiles industry and was a beautician. Mrs. Lollis was a member of Orrville Pentecostal Holiness Church.Survivors include her children: daughter, Gloria Whitfield of Belton, SC; son, Lafel Lollis of the home; sister, Fidel Garrett of Elberton, GA; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Cynthia Adell Lollis; sisters: Ida Mae Osteen, Sara Cole, and Bernice James; and brothers: Clarence Thompson, Auther Thompson, Clifton Thompson, Ralph Thompson, Henry Thompson and Bill Thompson.The Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Monday, December 29, 2008 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Walt Monroe and the Reverend Dr. Frank Whitfield.
