Susan Dale Davis AeppliJanuary 13, 1958 - December 16, 2011ANDERSON, SCSusan Dale Davis Aeppli, age 53 of 216 Corning Street, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Camden, NJ, Susan was a daughter of Allen Davis and Ann Sullivan Davis of Willingboro, NJ. She was a graduate of Willingboro High School and Willis Beauty School. Susan was a certified cosmetologist having owned two salons in her career. She became a resident of Anderson, SC in 2003 and was the daytime chef at Seasons by the Lake Restaurant in the Madrin Center, Clemson, SC. She also cooked for the Elks Lodge for the Friday night dinners.Susan is survived by her husband, David Aeppli of the home; her children, Jill Zuber and her husband, Andrew of Beverly, NJ, Christopher Grosso and his wife, Brittany of Beverly, NJ, and Shane Gray of the home; a brother, Richard Davis of Cherry Hill, NJ; sister, Nancy Lange of Lynchburg, VA; grandsons, Michael Woolverton and Dominic Grosso; 5 nieces, 2 nephews and 1 great-nephew.A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.A message of condolence may be sent by visiting www.mcdougaldfuneralhome.com.
