Mrs. Bruce was passionate about the Electric City Playhouse ' having spent years as an Actress and Director. She was also a member of a local Red Hat Society. Additionally, she was a homemaker and member of Shiloh Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband, Harold Tinsley Bruce, Jr.; and children: a son, Clell Richardson Clemons, III, and his wife, Janice; a son, David Stoughton Clemons, all of Greensboro, NC; one brother, John Stoughton Benjamin of Shelbyville, KY; and two grandchildren: Anna Ridgely Clemons and Clell Richardson Clemons, IV.
