Anderson, SC Susan Eichorst Susan Marie Eckman Eichorst, age 57, of Anderson, passed away at her residence on Friday, February 7, 2014. Born in Mt. Clemens, MI on July 22, 1956, she was the daughter of Gerald and Janice Yde Eckman of Sterling Heights, MI. Susan was a graduate of Stevenson High School in Sterling Heights. For 25 years, she was a UAW auto worker with the Ford Motor Company. She retired from the company in 2000. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Eichorst is survived by her husband, John P. Eichorst of the residence; a brother, Jerry Eckman and wife, Sherri; and 2 sisters, Kathy Clor and Terry Knoll, all living in the metro Detroit area. Mrs. Eichorst's body will be sent back to her hometown of Sterling Heights, MI, where services will be provided by Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home at a time and place to be announced.
