SUSAN HOWELL August 2, 1946 - August 21, 2012 Susan "Susie" McIntire Howell, age 66, wife of Don Howell, of Anderson, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in New Orleans, LA, she was a daughter of the late Wesley P. McIntire and Charlotte Rowland McIntire. She grew up in Milwaukee WI and graduated from the Wauwatosa East High School. She attended East Carolina University and University of North Carolina Charlotte, studying Music and English. She lived in Charlotte, for over 20 years and moved to Anderson in 1995. She worked at the Bank of America and later with Hitachi. Susan had a love for music and participated in the Anderson Follies for several years. She was a long-time member of The Dilworth United Methodist Church in Charlotte, NC, where she was very active in the choir. In Anderson, she attended St. John's United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband; her daughter, Jennifer Dominiquez and her husband Mike of Nashville, TN; two step-daughters, Diana Howell of Mooresville, NC and Debra Pesta and her husband Chris of Oakboro, NC; a sister, Charlotte Glassman of Troutman, NC; 7 grandchildren, Zoe, Grey, Juliette, Alice and Celia Dominiquez and Anna and Katie Pesta. The Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Dan Batson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
