Susan R. Murphy, age 52, of Anderson, SC, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023, at her residence. Born in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of Mack Giles Robinson and Carolyn Jones Robinson. She worked as a registered nurse for Fresenius Kidney Care and a member of High Praises Church of God. During her free time, Susan enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren. Susan is survived by her devoted husband Johnny S. Murphy III; sons, Cody James Branyon (Brooke), of Anderson, South Carolina and Kaden Grey Murphy of Cape Canaveral, Florida; sister Michele Snipes (Daryl) of Belton, South Carolina; grandchildren, Grant Branyon, Bentley Branyon, McKinna Hall, Khloe Hall, and Kaylee Hall; and her loving parents Mack and Carolyn Robinson. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Garden of Memories Cemetery at 11:00 am with Reverend Alvin Hodges officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 E Calhoun Street, Anderson, SC 29621.
