Susan Jean Avery Obermiller, age 62, of 111 Glenn Cove Road, Starr, SC, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Buffalo, NY, on December 22, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Harry Allyn Avery and the late Hazel Ruth Scriven Avery. For thirty-seven years, she was the loving and devoted wife of Robert Obermiller of the home. Mrs. Obermiller was a Laboratory Information Systems Manager at AnMed Health Medical Center. In addition to her husband, Robert, Susan leaves behind two sons, Jason Obermiller of Starr, and Matthew Obermiller and his wife, Tiffany, of Gastonia, NC; two brothers, Robert Avery and his wife, Gay, of Fairport, NY, and Gilbert Avery and his wife, Diane of Marrero, LA; also surviving are several nephews and cousins.
